Pipedrive doesn't have a built-in dialer. Its own help center says it has no built-in calling integration, so reps place calls through a marketplace app or the mobile app. If you searched for a Pipedrive dialer, the real question is which dialer to plug in, or whether to pick a CRM that already has one.
Below is what Pipedrive does on calls, what it costs, and how the add-on route compares with an all-in-one platform. We sell a CRM with a dialer inside it, so we'll start with where Pipedrive wins.
Does Pipedrive have a built-in dialer?
No. Pipedrive's help center says the product "doesn't have a built-in calling integration." It points users to marketplace apps that place and log calls, and names CloudTalk, Kixie, CallHippo, and Aircall as examples (Pipedrive Knowledge Base, checked 30 September 2026).
On the mobile app, a rep can tap the green phone icon in a deal or contact and call from the phone itself. From the web app, the call can be sent to the phone. That's click-to-call. There's no queue that dials the next lead for you, and no answering machine detection (AMD).
You may find older articles that describe a Pipedrive feature called Caller, with call credits on higher plans. Pipedrive's current help page doesn't list it, so treat those write-ups as out of date and check the vendor before you plan around them.
Where Pipedrive wins
Pipedrive is good at what it set out to do, which is a clear, visual pipeline. Reps tend to like it because the board is simple, and managers can see every deal without training.
- Teams that sell high-value deals to a short list of accounts don't need to dial hundreds of numbers a day.
- Its marketplace is large, so you can attach the calling tool that fits your phone system.
- Its entry price is low, which suits a small team that just wants a tidy pipeline.
If your reps make twenty careful calls a day, Pipedrive plus a basic calling app is a sensible setup. Nobody needs a predictive dialer for that.
What does a Pipedrive dialer setup cost?
Start with the CRM. Pipedrive's pricing page shows four plans, priced per user: Lite at $14 a month, Growth at $39, Premium at $59, and Ultimate at $79, with the figures shown on annual billing (Pipedrive pricing, checked 30 September 2026). Prices are listed without VAT.
Then add the dialer. Every calling app has its own price, and some don't publish it. That's the part to budget carefully, because a calling app is usually billed per seat on top of the CRM seat, and calling minutes may cost extra. Ask each vendor for the all-in number for your headcount before you compare.
With two bills, you also get two contracts, two logins to manage, and two places where a sync can break. When a call doesn't log to the deal, someone has to find out which product dropped it.
Which dialer should you add to Pipedrive?
Match the tool to how much your reps dial. The differences matter most at high volume, and our guide to power dialer vs predictive dialer explains the two styles in plain terms.
- Click-to-call apps suit reps who research each account and make a few dozen calls a day.
- Power dialers dial the next lead the second a call ends, which cuts the clicking and the dead time.
- Predictive dialers run several lines per rep and pass only live answers to the rep, so AMD accuracy decides how much talk time you get. We cover that in answering machine detection accuracy.
Whatever you pick, check three things before you sign: how quickly it logs calls back to Pipedrive, whether it handles calling hours and Do-Not-Call lists for you, and whether calling minutes are metered.
Is one platform better than a Pipedrive dialer add-on?
For outbound teams, often yes. When the CRM and the dialer are one product, the call, the disposition, and the next follow-up all live on the same contact record. There's nothing to sync and one vendor to call when something breaks. Our roundup of the best CRM with dialer compares the options.
That's what SellifyGPT is built for. The power and predictive dialer runs one to three lines per rep. Its abandon-rate governor soft-warns at 2.5 percent and hard-caps at 3 percent, and calling hours are enforced from 9am to 9pm in the contact's local time. Texting, email, scheduling, and AI coaching sit in the same seat. Our published pricing starts at $89 a month for Solo Starter and $79 per seat for Teams, both on annual billing. The full side-by-side is on the SellifyGPT vs Pipedrive page.
Switching has a cost. You'd move your pipeline stages, re-train reps, and lose any Pipedrive add-ons you rely on. A team that lives on Pipedrive's visual board may prefer to keep it and add a dialer. That's a fair call. HubSpot users face the same fork, and we walk through it in HubSpot dialer: what calling does and doesn't cover.
One note on rules. Calling hours, consent, and Do-Not-Call requirements apply whichever dialer you use. Treat any tool as an aid and confirm the details with your own compliance team.
How do you decide?
Pull a normal week from your call logs and count the dials per rep. If it's under fifty a day and reps research first, stay on Pipedrive with a light calling app. If reps dial for hours and spend most of them on voicemail, price a real dialer against an all-in-one seat.
